15 Point Cooling Inspection

Verify cooling performance, temperature drop and determine if adjustments are necessary.

Inspect and tighten electrical connections.

Inspect blower assembly operation, lubricate and adjust if necessary.

Clean outdoor condenser coil If necessary for system health Debris will be removed.

Inspect start/run capacitors and relays.

Evaluate condition of air filters and other indoor air quality accessories.

Inspect condenser fan motor operation, and lubricate if necessary.

Inspect for refrigerant leaks if system is found to be low.

Safety tests all controls for proper operation.

Check amperage of compressor for proper operation.

Inspect indoor evaporator coil, if accessible.

Calibrate thermostat if necessary and confirm proper operation.

Test operation and condition of compressor contactor.

Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow.

Evaluate overall efficiency of system and inform customer of equipment condition.

15 Point Heating Inspection

Clean heat exchanger if necessary and inspect for combustion leaks.

Examine flue and inspect venting system.

Inspect blower assembly operation, lubricate and adjust as necessary.

Test for carbon monoxide.

Verify proper inducer motor operation.

Evaluate condition of air filters and other indoor air quality accessories.

Clean burners and adjust for maximum efficiency if necessary.

Verify proper ignition and record igniter resistance reading.

Safety tests all controls for proper operation.

Clean pilot assembly and inspect thermocouple where applicable.

Inspect gas piping and valve for gas leaks.

Calibrate thermostat if necessary and confirm proper operation.

Inspect and clean flame sensor.

Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow if applicable.

Evaluate overall efficiency of system and inform customer of equipment condition.
